Artistic Swimming

Artistic swimming is an Olympic sport and art form that requires a unique combination of overall body strength and agility, grace and beauty, musical interpretation, stamina and artistic expression.

Previously known as synchronised swimming, artistic swimming can be performed as a solo, duet, team or combo and combines swimming, dance and gymnastics in a routine.

This introductory artistic swimming program is designed for swimmers interested in learning about the sport of synchro/artistic swimming. Basic skills, technique, and choreography will be worked on throughout the term.

Practices are held Tuesdays 4.00-4.45PM.

This is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Swimmers must be able to swim on their own, be willing to participate in group activities and feel comfortable in deep water.
